SxS Roadmap Update
We’d like to start off by thanking all of you for joining us on this journey. Within the first week of publicly launching our Discord server, we have obtained over 1,000 legitimate community members!
Quick sidenote: STARLIGHTxSOCIETY (SxS) was inspired by another project in the NFT space, namely “The Sevens.” While certain members of our team are moderators of that respected community, we are not affiliated with @TheSevensOfficial or their core team in any way.
Let’s talk about our roadmap and what we have planned for our project in the short, mid, and long term.

Our roadmap is a little different from what you might typically see in the NFT space. Our primary focus is to bridge the gap between NFTs and the music industry — while at the same time creating a brand/business that grants many perks to SxS holders.
Additional Details
We’d like to explain our roadmap in further detail so that our vision is clear.
Creating merchandise is the first step to creating a solid brand identity. We’ve carefully calculated costs and have determined that a 10% mint will enable us to start building our brand. An original soundtrack (or music album) will also be unlocked at this stage.
We aim to use this as a foundational step into becoming a streetwear brand. Our merch-line is expected to drop a week or two after launch. Holders will receive exclusive coupon codes/offers and a chance to get free products.
In addition, this enables us to release our introductory music album.
So why music? We wanted to take a new approach to NFTs, and how we can utilize the Blockchain for “real-life” scenarios.
In person, we have the connections needed to create an entertainment label. What’s missing are funds. A 25% mint solves that issue.
With these funds, we aim to release several high-quality albums with musicians from all around the world. Crossovers and collaborations that previously were unheard of will now be possible under our umbrella.
These artists won’t be completely unknown, either. Our primary area of focus is modern day Hip-Hop and RnB, however, our goal is to incorporate many different sounds and/or themes into the mix. What this means is that we’ll work with celebrity artists as well as underground/up-and-coming artists from around the world — crafting a unique sound.
Holders will have access to our entire catalogue, artwork, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage available for download. Usage terms are still to be determined.
At a 50% mint, we are able to work on our collaborative collection. This collection will feature artists, influencers, celebrities, pop-culture icons, and more.
Only eligible SxS holders will have the opportunity to receive exclusive collaboration NFTs through giveaways, raffles, and airdrops.
This milestone also allows us to begin working on a Season 2 collection. As long as demand is there, we will continue to work on the project. Season 1 SxS Holders will have minting priority.
Time for the juicy stuff!
After much calculation and debate, we’ve decided that a 75% mint allows us to produce a trailer for our planned feature film. With these funds, we will be able to hire a well-known and respected animation studio in Asia.
But, you’re probably asking yourself: Don’t you need some sort of storyline/manga before producing an anime? Well, you’re right.
We’re happy to announce that an official manga is under production. If we reach our goal of 75% mint, we plan to send out physical copies to eligible SxS holders — free of charge.
We will release more information on the animated trailer/film as we progress. Which brings us to our next, and final milestone: 100% mint — SOLD OUT!
Well, if we got this far, it must mean we did something right.. right? While mapping out our plans for the future, we decided to go the route of hosting some sort of music festival/concert.
But who’s coming? Where? Is it going to be a small concert? Any headliners? More information please!
Here’s what we can tell you:
- As part of our brand, we want to make this concert unique. We don’t want to have just a regular stage, no, we want to make it as exciting and immersive as we possibly can.
- It will be hosted in (or around) Toronto, Canada. Our goal is to make it an annual event, with headliners and celebrities involved.
- Eligible SxS holders will receive free passes to such events.
We’re keeping it as broad as possible as to not make promises we can’t keep. More info on this (and more) soon.
Usage Rights
All unique NFTs will come with a commercial use license.
1/1 and Ultra Rare SxS NFTs will also have some sort of music attached to them.
We will give out more details on usage terms later on.
Addressing The Feedback
After revealing our broad roadmap, we received some feedback from the community. We hear you.
When Staking? Token? Passive Income? DAO?!
Our primary goal has always been to bridge the gap between NFTs and the physical world. In order to accomplish said goals, we will have to register as an official business in North America.
Doing so involves lawyers, advisors, and other related professions to help maintain legal status.
Realistically, all of this is just code. It’s not hard to add into our roadmap.
We’re working on it, however, we cannot promise anything in regards to taking those routes.

Mint Date & Price Estimates
This is entirely dependent on our artists and community.
Our goal is to launch by mid *November, but this may vary.
Mint price (at current rate of Ethereum) will be around *0.06–0.08.
